In 2007, Provost Tom Sullivan charged Kate VandenBosch, Head of Plant Biology; Robert Kvavik, Associate Vice President for Planning; and the seven deans of college on the St. Paul campus (Colleges of Biological Science (CBS), Continuing Education (CCE), Design (CDES), Education and Human Development (CEHD), Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences (CFANS), Veterinary Medicine (CVM) and Extension) to identify future themes, which will define the mission of the St. Paul campus. This group met with the deans, their associates, and selected faculty and others with insight into St. Paul Campus strengths and potential. The result of these meetings is captured in Defining the St. Paul Campus: A Working Document.
