Steven works in the human resources and budget office as the Fiscal Area Manager for the Office of the President, the Office for Multicultural and Academic Affairs, the Office of Institutional Research and Reporting, and the University Senate. Before coming to work at the University in 1993, he was a professional actor for fifteen years.
