Jon's background is in academic policy, communications, with a special interest in institutional change. He holds B.A. and J.D. degrees and has worked for the Kennedy School of Government and for the president's office at Harvard University where, among other things, he was part of strategic planning efforts. His recent work for the Provost's Office has included a new University-wide arts and humanities initiative, establishing a new University-wide interdisciplinary Institute on the Environment, various strategic planning initiatives and communications along with several dean and director searches, in addition to other policy work.
