The McKnight Summer Fellowship helps support tenured and tenure track faculty summer research projects in the arts and humanities. Offered in conjunction with the Graduate School's Faculty Summer Research Fellowship (FSRF), it forms half the stipend that supports a full summer semester of research. The application process is combined with the FSRF application. Deadlines are generally in early November, with awards announced in January. The link below will take you to the Graduate School's Web site.
The Fellowship requires recipients to present the methods and findings of their projects during the following school year. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to attend. The presentations not only keep the community apprised of new research and issues in arts and humanities, but also provide insight into the process of research. A complete list of the presentations for the academic year will be posted in late October.
